Ross McFarlane has had an extensive military career spaning 3 decades in 2 different Armies. After 27 years with the British Army and 3 years within the Australian Army, Ross left to work as a Training Specialist for the Commonwealth.

With a background in Digital Communications and Armour, Ross has over 15 years’ experience in the L&D space. Having conducted Needs Analysis for large scale projects he is experienced in all elements of the Learning and Development cycle. His L&D experience has been proven with his previous service in both the British Army and ADF as lead Communications analyst within the Training Development Team (TDT) and Training Standards Group (TSG), working on major Defence projects.

This experience brings all elements of the learning cycle to bear on any project with a proactive
nature, willingness to seize the initiative at every opportunity and understanding of the team’s needs.

Ross is a committed family man, married to Mandy for 26 years with 5 children and 1 grandson. He enjoys travelling and sports.
