Chandell is a highly motivated and emotionally intelligent professional who is adept in stakeholder engagement and expectation management, government and organisational policy and governance, and business operations and human resourcing. Underpinning her success in these areas is Chandell’s proficiency in data mining, analysis, critical thinking and proposal creation, and generating and controlling relevant governance documentation.
With strong stakeholder engagement skills, Chandell is able to provide friendly and professional service to clients. Chandell has experience in engaging with all levels of the Department of Defence and with the broader Defence community, and in maintaining positive working relationships with stakeholders. During her previous work with Defence Families of Australia, Chandell provided feedback and advice to Government and Defence, and advocated for policy changes that improved the experience of Defence Force Families. Having completed a Post Graduate Diploma, Chandell is now undertaking a Masters of Governance and Public Policy program with the University of Queensland. She is also the partner of a current serving Defence member and parenting two school-aged children.
